WL Jeopardy

This resource is a jeopardy game in the form of a presentation. The resource is very useful since it's already filled out and can be personalized, if needed, by Supervisors. The resource is useful for Supervisors to recognize their WLs or to celebrate them with an engaging activity.

This guide includes various messages that Supervisors can share with their WLs and employees. The messages are brief, with content ranging from new hires, celebrating WL accomplishments, and updates. This guide is a useful resource for Supervisors sending messages to their WLs.

This resource is an example of an NSEAW/Event proposal. The guide illustrates various activities that can be used to celebrate and engage WL and a sample budget. This resource is useful for supervisors interested in celebrating their WL in a similar style or even as a guide for other events. 

This guide includes a link that takes Supervisors to a live NACE Bingo Card, which they can paste into their browsers or share with their WL. Despite its importance, training for supervisors of working learners (WLs) remains inconsistent. This report examines the preparedness of higher education professionals to supervise WLs through an analysis of master’s programs and interviews with current practitioners.

This report examines the preparedness of higher education professionals to supervise WLs through an analysis of master’s programs and interviews with current practitioners.

How do we scale student participation in high-impact practices (HIPs) on campuses where there is limited supply? Student employment, not an official HIP yet, has potential to fill this gap. This article describes approaches taken by two campuses within the State University of New York (SUNY) system to trans-form work-study/student employment into high-impact learning experiences.

Each of our inaugural Institute universities were paired together to interview, learn from and share valuable insights and work with one another. Brandee Popaden-Smith, Director of Work+Learn at Arizona State Unversity, shares updates about how ASU is continuing to focus on scaling work-integrated learning opportunites for all students.
