The Prototyping Canvas is used to organize a prototype and support presenting and testing it with users. It helps teams clearly articulate the concept, how it works, and its key components so it can be shared, discussed, and evaluated with participants.

How to use this resource
- Use the Prototyping Canvas once a concept is ready to be prototyped.
- Document the concept or breakthrough idea being tested.
- Describe how the prototype addresses working learner pain points and key insights.
- Complete the Function & Form section to explain the purpose, how the prototype works, and major activities.
- Fill in the Components & Features section to outline involved components, people, systems, and desired attributes.
- Use the Visualization area to sketch or show the prototype being presented to users.
- Use the completed canvas to guide user testing and discussion.
