Description

The University of Arkansas has created a guided process to reimagine student job descriptions. Through this process, roles are aligned with the 8 UA Career-Ready Skills (adapted from NACE) to identify and communicate their transferable skill outcomes. The process and accompanying workshops help managers clarify duties, enable HR to streamline processes, and empower students to see how their work connects to future careers. In this session, you’ll get an inside look at a framework that not only audits and elevates job descriptions but also shifts mindsets toward work-based learning. Come ready to explore practical tools and lessons learned from this initiative.
